In John chapter 6 verse 37 Jesus says: “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.” Not only does God save us, but he tells us that he will never drive us away from Himself. Jesus also says in John chapter 10 that “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.” The Bible is absolute in its teaching that a truly saved human being is continually secure in Christ.

With the concept of eternal security in mind the question to be asking is not: “Is it true?” But rather: “Am I actually Saved?” The catch lies in whether or not a person is truly saved, or simply making misleading professions.
